Serial port commands available are shown below

* Starts or restarts a command sequence
# Completes an input sequence, Executes command
M Memory, 0 to 9 allowed, single digit
P Plane, 0 to 9 allowed, single digit
II Two digit Input number, 00 to 99 allowed.
OO Two digit Output number, 00 to 99 allowed
C IO Channel number, 0 to 9 allowed, single digit
B IO channel Bit number, 0 to 7 allowed, single digit
R Restore code, 0 to 9, C or D allowed, single digit
HH Two digit Hex value, 00 to FF allowed.
VVRR Version and release numbers

 

Command format Action Response code

  Invalid command >02#

These commands take affect immediately

* M # Restore memory setting M >12#
* M2 # Saves links for all planes to memory M >18#
* P0 # Clear all connections in a plane P >14#
* P1 # Set links straight i.e. Input 0 to Output 0 , 1 to 1 etc. >16#
* PII1 # Set input II to all outputs in plane P >1D#

Shortcuts to allow the plane 0 to be set quickly

* OO0 # Clears link to output OO on plane 0 >1A#
* IIOO1 # Sets link from input II to output OO on plane 0 >1C#

These commands take effect after the Action command

* # Action new settings now >10#
* POO0 # Clears link to output OO on plane P >20#
* PIIOO0 # Clears link to output OO on plane P, as above >20#
* PIIOO1 # Sets link from input II to output OO on plane P >22#

 IO Channel commands these take affect immediately

* CB # Read all channels and display channel C >32HH....# Hex pair for each IO channel configured
* CB0 A # Clear IO channel C, bit B >30#
* CB1A # Set IO channel C, bit B >30#
* CHHB # Set all bits of channel C, HH bit pattern in Hex >34#

Configuration commands

* R4 # Power restore, R=mem. 0-9, C Previous, D None >1E#
* 1A # Reconfigure MATRIX >04#
* 03 # Send all configuration data via serial port >04VVRRHH..# Hex pair for EEPROM and CMOS contents
